It’s commonly called “Corporate Citizenship” – generically describing ways for profit businesses support non-profit services in their community. All Copy Products, through “Win’Win Partnering”, has entered a relationship with Inner City Health Center. This relationship is built on financial and volunteer support from All Copy Products, and the “Win-Win” financial model that helps businesses like ACP generate discretionary dollars to invest in their community. We at Inner City Health Center are honored to be in such a relationship with ACP. In this CoBiz Magazine article, ACP’s President Brad Knepper describes the many impressive benefits of this relationship. http://www.cobizmag.com/…/How-corporate-social-responsibil…/
Inner City Health Center, has entered into a “Win-Win Partnering” relationship with one of Colorado’s top private employers, All Copy Products. The win-win partnership delivers financial benefits to both partners on top of the impact they are making within our community.
Not only is All Copy Products providing financial support to ICHC, but All Copy Products employees will be joining more than 20 volunteers from the Lions Club of Denver at Inner City Health Center at 3800 York in Denver to help support the Center’s first free vision screening for community members who need eyesight testing. This vision screening, scheduled for August 20th 9 a.m.-5 p.m., was setup and made possible by The Denver Lions Club/Centennial Project, in partnership with Inner City Health Center’s Congregational Health Ministry.
At the free vision screening, patients of all ages can have their eyes refracted with electronic equipment, and optometrists and bi-lingual volunteers will be on-site to assist with vision services and distribute recycled glasses to attendees from all over the Denver Metro area.
“Denver nonprofits need partners like All Copy Products that take this collaborative and organized approach to corporate giving,” said Kraig Burleson, CEO of Inner City Health Center. “This partnership is a game-changer for our organization because it allows us to plan for and use contributions in the most strategic manner possible, ensuring that we’re delivering quality healthcare, vision, dental and behavioral services to as many Coloradans as possible. It’s also helpful to have a pool of volunteers who’s support we know we can depend on.”
“Corporate citizenship is at the very foundation of our culture,” said Brad Knepper, president of All Copy Products. “Employees – particularly the newest generations to join the workforce – are actively seeking employers who take community giving seriously, and win-win partnering takes us well beyond writing a check to staff engagement with programs like the upcoming vision screening.”
This year, All Copy Products’ contributions to Inner City Health Center will be approximately $35,000 and are expected to grow to nearly $60,000 in 2017
Big thanks to all the Denver Advisory Board (www.denveradvisoryboard.com) bowlers who raised $2295 for Inner City Health Center at their recent bowl a thon.
Parents – your kids can have their well check with a Pediatric provider and receive dental care during the same appointment. Let the scheduling ladies know that you want to make an appointment for both at the same time. Healthy teeth and healthy bodies – all in one happy stop!
A few days ago we were inspired by a group of millennials, otherwise known as volunteers with City Year (www.cityyear.org). These generous folks typically volunteer with at-risk kiddos in public schools. While their kids are on spring break this week, eight City Year volunteers skipped the slopes and beaches to volunteer at Inner City Health Center. Their markedly nu-glamorous task: move boxes and boxes and boxes from storage to a new storage area where they can be sorted etc. We are so grateful and look forward to a continued relationship with this enthusiastic group. They are very smiley as they go about their work!
