Working to resolve the iniquities of health care and make lives better has been a career-long role for Bill Wright, MD. Dr. Wright has long been a believer that health care plays an essential role in a civil society. As a front line physician and in his numerous leadership roles, he has championed the value of Permanente Medicine so that patients and people in our communities can live their lives to the fullest.
Permanente Medicine relies on team-based care and cooperation across specialties to deliver high value, affordable care. Permanente physicians care for populations, as well as individuals and reach out proactively to reduce the risk of exacerbation, hospital admission, or complication from underlying chronic conditions.
In his 29 years at Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG), Dr. Wright has worked as a Family Medicine physician and in several leadership roles to support and advocate for high quality, affordable health care. For the past eight years he has served as Executive Medical Director of CPMG, the medical group made up of more than 1,100 physicians who care for Kaiser Permanente members in Colorado.
In recognition of his leadership, CPMG has donated $2,500 to Inner City Health Center. Colleagues and friends who wish to recognize Dr. Wright’s tenure and commitment are welcome to contribute to Inner City Health Center and add a personal message to him by clicking the “Donate” button below.
