Jazzed is Inner City Health Center’s only fund raising event each year. Hazel Miller, long time patient of both the medical and dental clinics wanted to do something creative to inspire others to support Inner City Health Center. Hazel and her band has provided the music each year. Hazel recruits other musicians.
And so Jazzed was born in 2010. Jazzed focus has been to ensure there is plenty of fun in the process of fund-raising at Jazzed for ICHC.
Guests enjoy the “competitive” shopping by bid, the deliciously intriguing hors d’ oeuvres donated by local restaurateurs and chefs, the patient stories and even the final “ask” for significant funds. The guests dance and dance – throwing caution to the wind.
