Our COVID-19 Response

OUR COVID-19 RESPONSE

The health and safety of our patients is of our upmost concern. Our administration and providers consistently review our infection control protocols to ensure we are in full compliance and exceed the guidelines put into place by the CDPHE, DORA, the CDC and the ADA.

We have brought on new safety measures during this time to help keep you and  everyone else entering our doors safe.

We have recently made these changes in our clinics:

  • Everyone entering the building is required to wear a face covering except when a procedure is being performed. Your provider will let you know when it’s okay to remove your mask.
  • All team members have been instructed to wear a mask at all times.
  • All patients with appointments will receive a confirmation call, email, or text approximately 24 hours prior to the appointment to prescreen for COVID-19 exposure and symptoms.
  • Please arrive on time for your visit to help us ensure proper social distancing for our patients and staff. If you arrive early for your appointment, we are now offering a virtual waiting room option so that you can wait in your car and be notified when it is time to be seen.
  • Your temperature will be taken when entering the building, and you will be asked a few questions as a secondary screening for COVID-19.
  • We kindly ask that only patients enter the building. Please leave your friends, family, and children at home. We look forward to being able to welcome them again when things return to normal; but for the safety of staff and patients, we have to limit the number of people inside right now.  A guardian is allowed for minors, handicapped, and elderly patients; translators are also welcome.
  • All team members will continue to practice social distancing along with regular self-monitoring for any COVID-19 symptoms or exposure to individuals who are COVID-19 positive.
  • Patients are asked to sanitize their hands upon entering the building and we will ask you to use hand sanitizer again before entering the medical or dental wing.
  • Plexiglass barriers have been installed at our check-in/check-out areas.
  • We are practicing high frequency cleaning of all doorknobs, pens, and countertops in the waiting areas.

Dental Specific Changes:

  • All team members have been instructed to wear a mask at all times. Face Shields and N95 masks are used by each dental provider and chairside assistant for aerosol-generating procedures.
  • Gowns are changed between patients after any aerosol-generating procedure.
  • Patients are now asked to use an antiseptic mouth rinse prior to dental treatment.
  • We have air purification systems in all of our dental operatories, as well as in the waiting room.
  • We have also modified our schedule to allow more time for dedicated disinfection and complete air purification in each treatment room before the next patient is seated.

Thank you in advance for your patience regarding these changes and we look forward to seeing you at your next visit!
