Darlene is a licensed clinical Social Worker and licensed Addiction Counselor who is compassionate and believes in healing the mind, body, and spirit. She graduated from the University of Denver in 2008 with a Master of Social Work. She is an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained in trauma for adults, children, and adolescents. She is an approved Clinical Supervisor and Yoga teacher; she offers many modalities of healing from cognitive, DBT, motivational interviewing, Synergetic Play Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and many other types of therapies. She is bilingual and well-versed in humility and diversity. She infuses nutrition and Articular Therapy into treatment. She is also a Canine Activities Intervention Specialist.
Matt is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) passionate about holistic wellness and integrated care. He joined the Inner City Health (ICH) team in September of 2021. Prior to joining ICH, he graduated magna cum laude from Colorado State University in 2018 with a bachelor's in psychology. He went on to earn his master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021 and interned at another integrated care clinic. Matt is experienced using a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Gestalt therapy, EMDR, motivational interviewing, solution-focused brief therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapies such as DBT to treat a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal distress, substance use, and career/vocational concerns. Regardless of what clients want to focus on in therapy, he approaches therapy from a collaborative, decolonized, and strengths-based approach that honors and harnesses each person's lived experience in the therapeutic process. In his free time, Matt enjoys watching sports, reading comic books, playing video and board games with friends, and spending time with his partner and two cats, Missy and Felix.
As a licensed social worker, Lauren values a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to behavioral health care. Lauren began her path in behavioral health at Inner City Health (ICH) in 2022 and graduated with her master's in social work in 2023. In her practice, Lauren focuses on somatic and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients overcome symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Lauren is also well-versed in modalities such as CBT, EMDR, play therapy, and DBT. She is bilingual and dedicated to being culturally responsive.
Paulina is a health and wellness passionate with a diverse educational background and a deep-rooted belief in the power of healing the mind, body, and spirit. Paulina’s academic journey began at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition. She developed a comprehensive understanding of the vital role that diet and lifestyle play in overall well-being. Building upon this foundation, she pursued her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Denver. Born and raised in Mexico, Paulina is a bilingual clinician whose multifaceted approach to therapy draws from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She believes in tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual, empowering them to navigate life’s complexities and cultivate meaningful change.
Caroline is a clinical social work candidate (SWC), committed to providing comprehensive and holistic care to individuals and families. She graduated from Stanford University in 2019 with a bachelor’s in human biology. In 2024, Caroline earned her master’s in social work from Columbia University. As a bilingual Behavioral Health Provider, Caroline draws from various therapeutic modalities in her work with individuals, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Play Therapy to guide and empower individuals toward their goals while navigating any current or past hurdles. Caroline Hopes to help individuals not only see the best parts of themselves but also to accept other parts that may need some healing and compassion.
