Inner City Health Center’s Prenatal Program aims to keep both mom and baby healthy throughout the pregnancy and even after the baby is born. Studies have shown that early pregnancy detection and regular prenatal check-ups lead to healthier babies. Pregnant women who have regular scheduled visits with their OB/GYN are less likely to deliver prematurely and less likely to have serious problems related to their pregnancy. ICHC is focused on providing the best care possible to our expecting moms and celebrating the birth of their baby with them. Through grant-funded programs and in-kind donations, ICHC is able to provide free car seats and layettes – including clothing, diapers, bottles, formula, blankets, socks, etc. to expecting mothers in need.
